Engine
Offline-first 0.1.0
The current release line focuses on an offline classic engine baseline, stable platform builds, and regression-driven quality improvements.
Roadmap
Long-term chess project
Maharajah is actively developed as a long-term chess project. The current release focuses on offline play, expanded chess rules, local network matches, and a stable native engine.
Future work is planned around server-backed features and AI development: online play experiments, stronger computer opponents, analysis tools, and better training workflows.
These areas are exploratory and will be released gradually when they are stable enough for players.
